Turtle Island

This is the perfect extension before the Kinabatangan’s River Safari, upon arrival to Sandakan. This island is a park conservation area since 1977 and turtles have been nesting here every night throughout the year.

Borneo’s Rainforest

This is the perfect extension after the Kinabatangan’s River Safari, before the beach extension to Kota Kinabalu. Danum Valley Field Centre has evolved into one of the foremost rainforest research establishments in South East Asia. Interpretive trails have been set up in the forest surrounding the centre, and environmental education activities include sampling of the nearby Segama River, night walks and bird watching, as well as role play, games and talks by resident scientists.

Beaches East: Terengganu and Johor

On the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, Terengganu seduces with its typically Malaysian atmosphere. It offers very nice beaches in both the South China Sea, with fantastic resorts in the coast and the amazing islands, like Redang. Further south, in the southern state of Johor, as well as on the island of Tioman there are fabulous choices of beaches.

Taman Negara

This extension is ideal if only the Malaysian peninsula is visited, as an option to include a beautiful National Park. It is perfect for the program essence of Malasia, before visiting Cameron Highlands. We do not recommend this extension if the trip includes Borneo.

Langkawi

Connection flight to Langkawi from Penang or from Kuala Lumpur. Langkawi is an archipelago of 104 islands located in the Andaman Sea in Malaysia. The main island is perfect for ending a holiday beach in the country. The hospitality offered is fantastic with different tourist resorts and a choice of activities, ranging from mangrove walks, caves, diving…
